Beaches on MV
Martha’s Vineyard in known for its miles of pristine beaches. Each beach has its own feel and personality.
Many of the beaches are private or managed by the Town, so visitors need to be residents or staying at a property that have beach rights. During the summer months, the public beaches can be crowded, but most visitors can find the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Biking and Hiking
Miles of breathtaking shoreline and acres of
unspoiled land create a stunning backdrop for exploring the Island of foot and on bikes. Together, the Trustees of Reservations, the Massachusetts Audubon Society, the Land Bank Commission and other supporters have helped preserve vast stretches of land for public enjoyment. This is just a small sampling of the trails on the Island.
Golf on MV
There are 5 Golf Courses on Martha’s Vineyard. Each one has its unique feel, but they all offer a challenging round and spectacular vistas. From the remote allure of the Chappaquiddick Links to the pristine ocean views of Farm Neck, each course is its own beautiful patch of club swinging excitement.

Lighthouses on MV
The five lighthouses on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard represent the most diverse group in a small, contained area in the country, according to lighthouse buffs. All of the lighthouses are on the north side of the Island: they look out over Vineyard Sound and Nantucket Sound, and over the entrance to Edgartown Harbor and Cape Poge.
